The university community was consulted prior to drafting the statement of principles on freedom of expression at the university.
The Task Force also drew on a variety of reference materials, including the report on academic freedom in an inclusive university by Jean-François Gaudreault-DesBiens (in French) and the letter from the Rector to the UdeM community.
